Artist of the Term inspires and rewards creativity

To inspire our students and develop their confidence, the Art Department at Giles Academy run a popular ‘Artist of the Term’ initiative for all Year groups.

We are always keen to recognise and rewards the talents of our students and for this initiative, every student who is nominated receive House points and the winners in each Year group receive an art prize during their House assembly.

Each term there is a wide range art techniques and mediums used as we really enjoy seeing the students work as we are always impressed by their creativity and talents.
