Throughout the academic year, we embed a variety of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) topics into afternoon registration sessions, then three times a year we hold a PSHE Day where the whole school are involved.
The day took place on Tuesday 15th March for Year 7 and on Wednesday 16th March for Years 8 to 11 and they gave students the opportunity to take part in a special timetable of activities, talks and workshops that were specifically designed for their age group. Depending on the activity, these were led by our teachers or from external guest speakers and organisations.
Year 7 learnt about fire safety from Lincolnshire Fire Service and had sessions on online safety and anti-social behaviour. They were also able to experience the blurry effects of alcohol by wearing special ‘beer goggles’ without any drink being consumed!
