Making the grade with one-to-one singing lessons

left to right: Ella Haile (Year 8), Millie Hyam (Year 9) and Ruby Morley (Year 10)

One of the many extra-curricular activities our students have been benefiting from at Giles Academy are one-to-one singing lessons with Mrs Beeson, where they have either been practising Music Theatre or Popular Music Vocals.

As well as being an enjoyable activity that brings pleasure to others, singing can develop confidence, presentation and communication skills plus improve your mental health and wellbeing.

Congratulations to Ella Haile, Millie Hyam and Ruby Morley who and awarded their graded certificates as they continue to progress and achieve excellent results in their recent singing exams.

  • Ella Haile: Merit – Popular Music Vocals Step 2
  • Millie Hyam: Merit – Music Theatre Grade 3
  • Ruby Morley: Distinction – Music Theatre Grade 3
