Year 8 netball team record a 22-1 win against Boston High School

Our Year 8 netball team had an amazing win this week when they played against Boston High School on Wednesday evening. They won their match by an incredible 22-1 as they delivered an excellent team performance with a really positive competitive team spirit.

The Players Player was Darci Smith due to her incredible shooting success, and Coaches Player was Florence Mackay because of the way she completely dominated the court. A special mention also goes to Ema Doksvele for making her team match debut and playing so well in defence. Well done to all of the players for representing our school so well.

If any students are interested in getting involved and playing netball, we run two after-school netball clubs at Giles Academy. On Tuesday there is a club for Year 7 & 8 with Mrs Cooper and Miss Ward, then on Thursday there is a club for Years 9, 10 & 11 with Miss Ward.
