Year 7 Netball Team score 50 goals in their first two games

It has been an amazing start of the season for our Year 7 netball team as they scored 50 goals in their first two games!

We are incredibly lucky that every year to have a new group of students who achieve great results – and this credit must also go to the outstanding coaching that our students receive from our dedicated PE staff who focus on teamwork, tactics and skills.

For this season, the students got the chance to wear their fantastic new Netball kit and this must already be their lucky charm as they won their first match 21-2 and this week secured a brilliant 29-0 victory!

The team have been training together regularly since they joined the Academy in September, and their hard work and dedication is now paying off in the fixtures.

If you would like to join the Netball club and become part of the team, please see Mrs Cooper for a permission letter. The Netball Club for Year 7 and Year 8 students takes place on Tuesdays after school until 4.30pm.
