Designing stamps to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Every student at Giles Academy belongs to a house, which can be identified by their house badge and throughout the year we hold many events, activities and competitions that count towards the house points.

This term, all students in Year 7 to 10 are taking part in a ‘Design Your Own Stamp’ competition to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Students are able to use their imagination and creativity to design their very own stamp that represents themselves (such as their interests and personality). They must also incorporate their house colour as the main colour.

Students have been able to complete their entries during registration periods or they can do this in their own time as well.

The closing date for entries will be Friday 18th March 2022 and there will be winners selected from each form, house and an overall top 3 with prizes awarded.
