Discover how to get into teaching at primary and secondary schools

After the success of our Get Into Teaching event at Spalding Academy earlier this month, we are holding another Get Into Teaching event at Bourne Academy on Tuesday 29th April 2025 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.
This time, there will be the opportunity to find out you can get into teaching in PRIMARY or SECONDARY schools and this information evening will help you take the next step to progressing your career.
Keystone Academy Trust are one of the primary school lead partners with Lincolnshire ITT and South Lincolnshire Academies Trust are a secondary school lead partner with Lincolnshire ITT. Both can provide you with one-year school centred Initial Teacher Training.

On the one-year school centred Initial Teacher Training programme with Lincolnshire ITT, you could train either with us or be placed at a variety of other primary or secondary schools in the Lincolnshire, Rutland and Peterborough areas.
If any of the following applies to you, you will want to attend:
- Recently gained a Level 6 undergraduate degree (e.g. BA, BSc, BEd, BEng) in any subject
- Currently studying a Level 6 undergraduate degree (e.g. BA, BSc, BEd, BEng) in any subject
- Currently studying A-levels or Level 3 BTECs and wanting to get into teaching
- Wanting to change career and become a teacher
- Working in a non-teaching role within a school or college environment and wanting to get into teaching
This event starts at 5.30pm where there will be a presentation then the opportunity to speak to staff informally. You will learn about the different training pathways, entry requirements and details about student finances. We will cover school placements, the course content, support available plus timescales. We can also provide help so you can successfully apply.
