Girls Netball Team are winners of the Boston Schools Schools League

This week was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the success of the Year 9 Girls Netball Team as it was confirmed that they have been crowned winners of the Boston Schools Netball League for their year group.

The team have been unbeaten all season after winning every game against other schools in the Boston area, which included Haven High Academy, Boston High School, Thomas Middlecott Academy and The Thomas Cowley High School. What is just as impressive is the goal difference as the team scored 40 goals and only conceded 9 goals all season.

As champions of their league for the Boston Schools, they will now play Bourne Grammar School in the final. Congratulations to Isabella, Ruby, Willow, Martyna, Abbie, Zuzanna, Luciella, Evie and Tillie for making the school very proud.

Mrs Cooper, Teacher of PE said “I would like to congratulate the team on their successful season and wish them good luck for the final! The team have worked tremendously hard throughout the year by regularly attending extra-curricular training sessions, which has resulted in their success.”
