How can you protect your child online if they know more than you?

How can you protect your child online if they know more than you?

We would like to thank everyone who attended the ‘Parent Online Safety Event’ earlier this term, which was run by the Stay Safe Partnership at Lincolnshire County Council.

This informative workshop was exclusively for parents and carers of students at the schools in our Trust and covered how to protect young people from cyber-bulling, online grooming, inappropriate content, sexting and be safe online. It also provided information about the range of parental controls and apps that make it simple to protect your family without stopping your enjoyment online.

Everyone should know how to protect themselves online and it doesn’t matter whether your child is 11 or 18 years of age, or even if you are an adult. As the online world is constantly changing, it is helpful to get the latest advice to ensure we are all safe.
