MP visits Giles Academy to see the transformation in person
Our local MP, Matt Warman visited Giles Academy last week (on Friday 15th July 2022) and spent the whole afternoon meeting students and staff at the school.
During his visit, Matt Warman met with Mrs Lucy Conley, Executive Headteacher and Miss Katie Belcher, Head of School to find out how Giles Academy has significantly improved since it became part of South Lincolnshire Academies Trust.
Our students also had the opportunity to meet the MP and share their experiences and thoughts about what makes Giles Academy a fantastic school to be part of.
There have been so many improvements made at Giles Academy over the last two years, so it was a great way to end the term by showcasing our school to our MP in person as he been extremely supportive during this time.
After the visit, Matt Warman MP said “It was good to talk through the progress the team has been making, and hear from some of the students who were great ambassadors and obviously very proud of their school.”
