Mrs Barber shortlisted for Greater Lincolnshire Careers Champion

The amazing work our careers team across South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is being officially recognised as Mrs Libby Barber, Careers & Aspirations Lead has be shortlisted for the ‘Greater Lincolnshire Careers Champion 2022/23’.

Mrs Barber is one of 21 nominations selected by the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub and they said “Libby has worked arduously to achieve the perpetual, robust careers programme that we see today across our four schools. As the Trust grew from two schools, so did Libby’s knowledge and confidence; this is acknowledged not just by her Level 6 Leadership qualification, but by the clear increase of engagement from students, staff and families.”

The shortlisted individuals range from Enterprise Advisers, SEND Schools, Colleges and Education Trusts. There will be a prestigious Careers Hub event to be held at Lincolnshire Showground where there will be five Careers Champions crowned for 2022/23.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such as a dedicated careers team working across all of the schools in our Trust and we are proud that Mrs Barber is being recognised by the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub and wider education community.
