Year 9 netball team score 36 and only concede 4 goals to win title

The SLAT Sports Games feature all four schools in the Trust and is a tournament where all schools play each other in a mini-tournament. Each year group can then earn points that go towards an overall league table featuring the results from all years.

It was the turn of the Year 9 Girls Netball Team to compete in their tournament, and they secured their title and maximum points with a perfect record by winning all three games by scoring 36 goals and only conceding 4.

The entire team performed brilliantly from defence to centre court and attack. In the 12-1 win against Spalding Academy, the Players Player was Darci Smith. In the 13-1 win against Bourne Academy and the 11-2 win against Cowley Academy, the Players Player was Florence Mackay.
