Get paid to explore teaching and gain real classroom experience before you graduate!
If you are a undergraduate (in your second, third or final year) or a Masters student, the ‘Paid Teaching Internships’ with Lincolnshire ITT is a great opportunity to gain practical experience of what it’s like to be a teacher in a secondary school and find out if teaching is right for you.
You will be get paid £1,365 for the three week teaching internship, where you will explore teaching and gain real classroom experience plus employability skills before you graduate!
You will need to be interested in teaching one of the following subjects and be studying a STEM or Language related degree:
- Chemistry
- Computing
- Design & Technology
- Languages (French and Spanish)
- Maths
- Physics
The internships will take place Monday to Friday from Monday 15th June to Friday 3rd July 2026 in Lincolnshire. You must be available for all 15 days.
During this time the students will undertake observations of experienced teachers, support groups of learners, lead a small project and will have the opportunity to jointly plan and co-deliver lessons.
To take part, the application deadline is Friday 6th March 2026 and there are a limited number of internships available.
