Non-uniform day in aid of Comic Relief and Earthquake Appeal
Non-uniform day in aid of Comic Relief and Earthquake Appeal
On Friday 17th March 2023, it is Comic Relief / Red Nose Day and we traditionally hold a non-uniform day at the school. This year, we are still holding a non-uniform day and will be using the day to raise funds for two charities!
If students wish to come to school in non-uniform, we are asking them to make a minimum £1 donation with 50% going to Comic Relief and 50% going to the DEC Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal.
In light of the recent developments in Turkey and Syria, we feel compelled to assist where we can to support the families affected by the recent earthquake and this event provides the opportunities to students to help raise funds for both causes.
Details of the non-uniform day restrictions have been sent to parents. If students wish to get involved even more, there are special Red Nose Day t-shirts available from the official Red Nose Day website (https://shop.comicrelief.com) as well as TK Maxx, Homesense, Amazon and Homebase …and don’t forget your red noses!
We would like to thank everyone in advance for their support with these worthwhile charities and please remember to visit our website and social media for photos of students from the day.
