At Giles Academy we would usually support The Royal British Legion, by selling poppies and our head students would attend the Remembrance Day Parade. Unfortunately, due to COVID, neither of these events can take place.
We have set up a JustGiving page for all of our charity appeals this year. The first one is for the Poppy Appeal, where all funds will go towards The Royal British Legion. Please see below the link should you wish to donate.
Students on Wednesday 11th November will be able to wear their Scout, Guide or other Cadet uniform should they wish.
GA will be supporting the usual 1-minute silence on 11th November at 11.00 am, but we would also like to contribute to the national charity.
