Year 9 Art student designs the official SLAT Christmas Card
To showcase the creative talents from the Art & Design departments, this year South Lincolnshire Academies Trust commissioned one of our Art & Design students with the task of designing an original Christmas Card.
This task was accepted by Katie Winks in Year 9 who is one of our dedicated art students with an exceptional talent for creating original artwork and a keen interest in drawing wildlife scenes.
We were really impressed with the techniques used to create this seasonal design with the fox in snow to announce the arrival of the festive season. It fitted the brief perfectly and the end result was very professional and would look at place in any card store.
The card was made in the official SLAT card for 2025 and has been send to headteachers at local primary schools all across Lincolnshire as well as staff who work in the Trust.
To say thank you for Katie’s efforts, she received a large canvas of her work as well as copies of the Christmas card so she can enjoy looking at home in future years as well.
