Giles Academy listens to students comments, ideas and suggestions
To support students in their educational journey, we believe it is important to listen to the views of all students as we value the student voice at our school.
Back in 2023, we launched an initiative called ‘Students Say, We Listen’, where students can provide feedback by completing a quick form on our website to make comments and suggestions about the school. This is one of the many ways in which we enable students to play an active part in contributing to the school.
During this time, we have received many excellent comments, ideas and suggestions that have resulted in improvements we have already implemented or are planning in the future.
These have ranged from what students would like served in the canteen, improvement to the toilets, comments about uniform, ideas for the school yards, requests for extra inter-school competitions plus different lunchtime clubs students would like to be run.
The link to the ‘Students Say, We Listen’ form is on the homepage of the school website and also on the button below.
The ‘Students Say, We Listen’ form is for student use only.
If students need to report a pastoral issue or complaint, then they should not use ‘Students Say, We Listen’ form, but contact their Year Lead or member of the Pastoral Team, or visit www.gilesacademy.co.uk/feeling-worried-or-anxious
