Year 11 students are on target after receiving their mock exam results

The hard work is starting to pay off for Year 11 students as they received the results of their mock exams last week. The mock exams are a dry run for the summer GCSE examinations and are a great indicator for students and staff so they know how they are set to perform as the mocks can be compared against student targets.

We have scheduled the Year 11 Parent’s Evening to take place on Thursday 27th January so it is timed for after students receive these results. It is really important that parents and students attend these individual online subject meetings as it will help them to understand where the focus needs to be and the support we can provide over the coming months.

We are also really pleased to share the results of the Year 11 assessment of learning (AOL) data for Giles Academy, which forecasts the end of Key Stage 4 progress to be +0.09 and now places the school performing ABOVE national average. This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved at the school.
