Year 8 and Year 9 Rounders Teams are crowned SLAT Summer Games Winners
Year 9 Rounders team celebrating their deserved win
Our Year 8 and Year 9 students are the first year groups to compete in the SLAT Summer Sports Games against the other schools in our Trust. Both the girls rounders teams have won their respective tournaments and are also undefeated.
The tournaments are held at Spalding Academy as this location is central for all of the schools to travel to and host all of the participating students.
As massive congratulations to the both of the rounders teams as their excellent batting, fielding, teamwork, tactics and competitive spirit meant that earned maximum points in the overall tournament table.
The results certainly show that our approach these friendly competitions with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and the teamwork is evident in every match. Go Team Giles!
